Protect identifying information
- Avoid posting your address, workplace schedule, children’s school, passwords, financial details, or private documents.
- Anonymous posts can still identify you if the story includes unique names, dates, locations, or screenshots.
- Move slowly before taking a conversation to personal phone numbers or outside apps.
Notice pressure
- Be cautious when someone pushes for secrecy, money, intimate images, immediate trust, or contact after you say no.
- You never owe a response, explanation, voice call, friendship, or personal detail.
- Block and report threats, coercion, impersonation, or attempts to expose you.
Voice rooms
- Your microphone should stay off until you turn it on.
- Leave any room that feels unsafe; you do not need permission.
- Do not record or redistribute another person’s voice without consent and compliance with applicable law.
Mental-health conversations
Peers can listen and care, but they are not automatically trained professionals. Use licensed or emergency support when the situation requires it.
